Your rights
Privacy requests and opt-out
Pharos lets verified business customers investigate internet infrastructure using public sources. If you think your personal data may be processed by or through Pharos, you can use the forms below.
Your rights under the GDPR
- Access — ask whether we hold personal data about you and receive a copy.
- Erasure — ask us to delete personal data about you.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including searches about you.
- Other rights — rectification, restriction and portability can be requested by email at privacy@pharos.example.
How we handle requests
- We respond within one month of receiving your request (GDPR Art. 12). We may extend this by two further months for complex requests and will tell you why.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity, in proportion to the request. We use the information you give us only to handle your request.
- Where a customer controls the investigation data, we forward your request to that customer and help them answer it.
- You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) or your local supervisory authority.
Why you were not notified directly
We do not contact people individually when public data about them is processed, because this would involve disproportionate effort (GDPR Art. 14(5)(b)). Instead, our public privacy notice describes the processing, the sources and how to opt out.
